Nina Cereteu, Mayor of Drochia, participates in the Open World program organized by the U.S. Congress and the U.S. Embassy in the Republic of Moldova from August 6 to 17. According to Our Party press service, the program, aimed at local leaders in the civil and political spheres, involves a professional exchange of experience.

According to the mayor, the first day was full of inspiration and discoveries. Dr. Sam Potolicchio, Chairman of the Foundation for the Training of World Leaders, spoke about the structure and functioning of the government system in the United States.

"The day ended with a tour of Washington, an impressive combination of history, culture and symbols of American democracy," the party quoted the mayor as saying.

Nina Cereteu stated that she is adopting best practices for adaptation in Drokia, noting that she is impressed by the interest of American colleagues in Moldovan cities and the whole Republic of Moldova.

Earlier, the mayor of Glodeni, Stela Onutu, who is also a representative of Our Party, participated in the Open World program.
