"Our Party" excluded from the list of candidates for deputy a candidate who was previously associated with the “Shor” party. This was announced on Wednesday by the leader of the party Renato Usatii.

According to him, the woman was excluded from the list of candidates for deputy after “information emerged that this person participated in the 2023 local elections on the list of a political party that was subsequently declared illegal.”

“We are glad that this information was received during the period when it is still possible to make changes to the list of candidates. Democracy operates in Our Party: each district of the country proposed 3-4 candidates for the post of deputy. Despite the fact that the aforementioned woman claims that she has never been a member of a party that was declared unconstitutional, the very fact of her nomination from this party is sufficient grounds for her exclusion. Our Party has already made other changes based on information received from citizens,” Usatii said.

He also called on citizens to pass on information about candidates included in the list.

“If this information is grounds for exclusion, Our Party will immediately make an appropriate decision,” its leader noted.
