Elena Gritco, a deputy from Our Party, suggested that the deputies initiate the adoption of a law on the abolition of parliamentary immunity. She stated this at the beginning of the parliamentary session on Thursday.
"I suggest that all deputies support our legislative initiative and support the bill on the abolition of parliamentary immunity. We want to see if all 101 deputies are ready to support such a legislative initiative, whether they are ready to be equal before the law, or whether they want to hide behind parliamentary immunity. Although, I see that many are ready to leave the hall rather than support the initiative," said Gritco.
