OUR PARTY LEADER: CHANGING PRIME MINISTER AND SEVERAL MINISTERS IS AN ATTEMPT TO PRESERVE THE CURRENT GOVERNMENT

The change of prime minister and the reshuffling of several ministers are not real changes in the government, but rather an attempt to preserve the current government and the existing political system. As reported by INFOTAG, Renato Usatii, leader of Our Party, commented on the proposed government team.
"Only a few ministers were changed. Otherwise, the government composition remained virtually the same. Clearly, the real goal was not to form a new team or change the approach to governing the country, but to replace Alexandru Munteanu with Vasile Tofan. The operation, which began back in February, has now been completed," he said.
According to him, Our Party refused to participate in consultations on the appointment of a new prime minister because they were purely formal – "all the decisions had already been made, the name of the future prime minister was known, and the parties were invited merely for show and to create the appearance of dialogue."
"Moldova no longer needs another change of scenery. We need to completely change the political system and the very structure of government. Otherwise, prime ministers, ministers, and party names will continue to change, but the country will continue to be governed by the same circles, according to the same rules," Usatii believes.
In his opinion, the difference between the old and new prime ministers is that Tofan will not be as quiet and obedient as his predecessor, and will not leave quietly, as Alexandru Munteanu did.
"Therefore, in my opinion, this government has a maximum of six months left. The next snap parliamentary elections will most likely see the emergence of a new party led by the current Prime Minister, Vasile Tofan. "Thus, the current government is preparing a future coalition partner in the next parliament," Usatii concluded.

"Our Party" is an extraparliamentary opposition political formation, positioning itself as a pro-Moldovan party advocating for a balanced foreign policy between East and West. We are convinced that for the Republic of Moldova today, the priority is not geopolitics, but solving the country's and its citizens' problems.
