Alexandr Berlinschii, a member of parliament from "Our Party", believes that "the interests of citizens should be at the center of administrative and territorial reform." He stated this, commenting on the consultations initiated by the government on future reform.
"But the reform should not be imposed from the top down, but should be formed on the basis of a broad public consensus — through real, transparent and ongoing public consultations. He stressed that the opinion of local public authorities should be taken seriously, especially the position of the Congress of Local Authorities of Moldova (CALM)," the deputy is convinced.
According to him, "the interests of the citizen should be an absolute priority: better public services, closer to people, less bureaucracy and preservation of the identity of local communities."
Berlinschi noted that sustainable reform is unacceptable "by making decisions without the participation of citizens."
The government has not yet disclosed the content of the administrative-territorial reform, but claims that as a result, people will receive "more funds for projects and services, less bureaucracy; villages will be preserved, city halls will merge and local service centers will be created; obtaining documents will become easier through a single window.

"Our Party" is an extraparliamentary opposition political formation, positioning itself as a pro-Moldovan party advocating for a balanced foreign policy between East and West. We are convinced that for the Republic of Moldova today, the priority is not geopolitics, but solving the country's and its citizens' problems.
