ACTIVISTS OF OUR PARTY ACCUSE CEC OF WORKING FOR PAS

Activists of Our Party accused the Central Election Commission (CEC) of bias and serving the interests of the ruling PAS party in the formation of district electoral councils.
On Friday, at a press conference, activist Elena Gritco said that the CEC has included persons affiliated with the PAS in the councils, which casts doubt on the integrity of the parliamentary elections.
The registry from which council members are appointed turned out to be politically biased, she said, citing the example of Causeni, where Vadim Velichii, who promotes PAS on social media, was appointed to the council, and Aurelia Tincu, who was seen next to PAS candidates at a party conference, in Dondusani.
According to Alexandr Berlinschi, another representative of Our Party, the CEC is becoming an instrument of the ruling party, not a guarantor of transparency.
