"I will make my first visit as president of Moldova in the interests of the Moldovan people," said Our Party presidential candidate Renato Usatii. The politician said on Monday evening on the N4 TV channel that traditionally, in recent years, the first visits of Moldovan presidents have been to Brussels or Moscow.

"Where there will be more interest for the Moldovan people, that is where I will go," the politician said.

According to Usatii, he will start actively dealing with the country's interests right after the second round.

"I will start working with business people from all over the world. I am not interested in political visits, which were traditionally carried out in Moldova for 30 years. They were mostly visits for photos, but this is not for me. We have two neighbors given by God, with whom Moldova should have good neighborly relations," the presidential candidate from Our Party said.

According to Usatii, if the Moldovan people are interested in cheap gas and electricity, or in money transfers by migrant workers through the state-run Posta Moldovei company, it does not mean that I will not pay a visit to the Russian Federation.
